WindfallFound – New Single and Video Release: Part II

Are you sitting comfortably? Then let’s begin.

Not too long ago, I reviewed a single from the first Soundtrack band we had ever featured on Musically Fresh. WindfallFound are five friends from St. Catherines in Canada who are out to better the future of our world.

You can find my words on their first single, ‘Soaring (Pulling for the Heavens Pt.1)’, HERE, but for a brief recap, I described it as being, ‘three and a half minutes of peace and tranquillity, which calmly embeds a feeling of promise and content with our world’ – and the guys went on replied to me by saying that was, ‘the coolest thing that’s ever been written about our music, by far’.

You’re welcome.

I closed the review by saying how I was very much looking forward to Part 2. And, like all good sequels, I had a while to wait, but here it is, the second single from their Pulling For The Heavens LP; ‘Floating (Pulling for the Heavens Pt. 2)’.

And it really is such an apt title. Because, where Part 1 propelled us away from all the drama and disruption, Part 2 takes our pressures, and it cradles us. It supports us. It protects us.

And that may only be for four and a half minutes, but nonetheless, after that brief amount of time, you’re ready to face everything and anything once more.

Whether you’ve just returned from a extensive journey, got back from a weekend-long festival, completed a video game or simply a rough day at the office. Play this… and just float there within your own existence.

Every pluck, every strum, every note, every beat, every lyric – everything, WindfallFound puts into their sound earns its place. Because, as a listener, you can feel how the guys have carefully considered and manipulated every aspect of a track perfectly. All so it fulfils its purpose.

And speaking of lyrics, I’m going to close this chapter on WindfallFound with their video to ‘Views’, which blew me away with sincere beauty and splendour. Just… enjoy.
