Fresh Picks: Positive Junk – Skacore To The Core.

Positive Junk – Coventry, England, United Kingdomband

I was on the Internet the other day, and I found a band. A Punk band, from Coventry, with Ska bits.

I was literally prowling some music groups (again) for some new sounds and you really wouldn’t believe how much I uncovered… More than enough to shut up anyone who declares either that ‘Punk Is Dead‘ or that anything that isn’t on mainstream airwaves is crap and has no musical value or talent.

Those people exist in droves, trust me.

Our Fresh picks are always short, so lets keep it that way. If you’re into Skate Punk and Melodic Hardcore, then listen to this band. If Choking Victim, Leftover Crack and Star Fucking Hipsters are your jam, listen to this band. If you’re looking for some no bullshit, cracking British Punk, then listen to this band.

Choosing tracks to embed in this one wasn’t easy, I literally moved to Australia for a year-ish recently and free time isn’t as readily available as it was. Regardless of that however, I HAD to take time out to attempt to give this band some justice and the attention they deserve.

So kick back, and enjoy top quality UK Punk-Rock.

‘What is this life?
It’s all one big joke and I think I’m gonna’ choke,
But as long as i’ve got my tunes then I’ll be fine…’
