NARCS – The Band and The ‘Pig’ Single/Video Release.

NARCS – Leeds, England, United Kingdom.

NARCS are from Leeds in England’s North and describing them sonically isn’t an easy affair but it’s a fun one, as sitting here listening to their material and watching their music videos has been well worth my time.

To date, the band have a number of releases out on Clue Records, an independent label home to not only NARCS but fellow northern noise makers Allusondrugs, Trash and Forever Cult, who will all be linked at the bottom as they are all well worth a look.

Now however, it’s all about ‘Pig’. With a video that took two months to make and is by far one of the more disjointed and wonderfully dark and bizarre things you will see this week, ‘Pig’s visuals are transfixing.

Musically, akin the rest of the bands work, it’s dark, progressive and discordant yet melodic and tuneful in it’s own way. Comparisons to early Post-Hardcore, riff-laden Stoner Rock, Indie and Post-Punk gloom or may even Grunge for that matter can be made.

The simple matter of fact is that NARCS have it where it counts, so enjoy ‘Pig’ below and then find all things Clue and NARCS below that:
