Salvation Jayne and The New Single ‘Juno’.

Salvation Jayne – Kent, England, United Kingdom.

Kent four-piece Salvation Jayne are a band taking the female-front Hard Rock tradition further along and away from cliche, we’ve seen them before – Here – with their single ‘Burn It Down’ which saw the band build on this blueprint with their driven and intense Alternative Rock laden with attitude and melancholic melodies.

The band continue to bring the dated genre into the now with the latest single ‘Juno’. Nods to the Audioslave are even clearer with this new single, especially so in the verses, as well as either direct or indirect influence from the late Chris Cornell (RIP) on the Chess Smith and her soaring vocals.

‘Juno’ has just the right amount of melodic Pop-Rock sensibilities in its chorus vocals and high-pitched melodic guitar-lines of the verses and refrains directly juxtaposed by the weight the band also embody as they try, quite successfully so to blend the most of their influences and inspirations.

Another band to watch? I’d say so.
