Kylie Minogue Quits The Voice UK, as ‘I Was Gonna Cancel’ is Released
After a few weeks of ‘ifs’ and ‘maybes’, Kylie Minogue has finally revealed the most shocking news since Tom Daley came out as gay, and has confirmed she will not be returning as a judge on The Voice UK.
She tweeted the following earlier today;

Kylie replaced Jessie “LOOK AT ME! LOOK HOW CRAZY I AM!” J, for the third series of the talent show, and it seems schedules for Minogue’s upcoming Kiss Me Once tour would make appearing on the next series impossible.
Yes, it seems balancing a her own pop career, whilst gently prodding the forgettable contestants into 15 minutes of fame is just too much to juggle for the pixie-sized, pop princess.
Despite the fact Kylie was praised by Voice fans, and definitely made the show slightly more bearable to watch, it wasn’t enough to save the series finale from receiving its lowest viewing figures ever of a final – and two-million less than the blind-auditions. Maybe this was part of her decision too? Or maybe she’s just a sore loser?
Either way, this series was eventually won by all-out-favourite, Jermain Jackman, and we all look forward to his music career… Aaaaand it’s gone! No, come on, let’s give him a chance.

‘Into the Blue’ is the first single off Kylie’s latest studio album, Kiss Me Once. Put simply, it is classic Kylie, and probably would have done very well a decade ago.
The album itself is well produced, written etc., and does have some catchy tunes – but I guess that comes from plumbing money into it. On the whole, it’s average Kylie pop; nothing stands out quite yet. Personally, I’d be surprised to see a UK #1 come from it.
Put simply, if you wasn’t a Kylie fan by 2002, you’re not going to be after hearing this either.
