New Blood in Musically Fresh
Greetings!
The name’s Matt and I’ll be joining the writing team here at Musically Fresh as of today! I’m currently based in Bath but hailing from the mystical Isle Of Wight, it matters not where I am, how sober or what I’m supposed to be doing; I’m very much all about the music.
In short, you wont have to wait TOOOOO long for extreme cynicism and sinfully dull prose… Someone had to step up.
I JOKE, I’m not that bad… In all seriousness I’m hoping to contribute to the site in the way of reviewing, recommending and generally ranting about new, old, newish, oldish, not really new but not really old but old and new *deep breath* music that I come across. Anything I think would benefit the ears of you lovely people shall be posted for your reading and listening pleasure, be it new or old…
I’m very much a fan of Punk Rock and it’s numerous and mixed musical styles. Styles that have both obviously and perhaps sometimes less so, shaped modern music. From lyrical content, to that driving three or four chord rhythm that enticed me all those years ago. I hope to show some appreciation to the greats and the future greats during my time at Musically Fresh and I can’t wait to get started! Here’s some goodness from Punk Rock Super Group, Only Crime.
