Upside Down: The New Single + Album Announcement .

Upside Down – Madrid, Spain.

Madrid based Pop-Punk band Upside Down are set release their new album this coming December and to entice us until then, the band have released their new single ‘Do I Still Miss You?’ alongside a Crowd-Funding campaign to finalise the album, but more on that in a moment.

Taking influence from the likes of Neck Deep, Real Friends, The Wonder Years and Fall Out Boy on this single, ‘Do I Still Miss You?’ begins deceptively with its sombre intro reminiscent of the more emotional croons of The Wonder Years before leading onward to mid-tempo Pop-Punk-led Alternative Rock.

At this stage, a slower mid-tempo emotional Pop-Punk track so common within the contemporary scene presents itself and you are are happy with that, but that isn’t all. The band then embody the classic of the genre with a headlong charge into the up-tempo as they search their feelings. Upside Down constantly alternates between the classic Pop-Punk pace and the just as vintage 90’s Pop-Punk chorus’ and mid-tempo sing-a-long verses.

With ‘Do I Still Miss You?’ Upside Down present as much in the way of their influences as possible, as teasingly as possible.

Scars Are Forever is set to release in December with the band Crowd-Funding the final stages of the album. Upside Down have amassed some impressive incentives and rewards for this project, with ten separate support-packs available including just about every kind band merch and Pop-Punk paraphernalia for this new release that you could possible desire!
