After leading us “up the garden path” on their last release, Norwich charged Ska-Punk four-piece Disgraceful are back with two more hard ad heavy Ska-Punk tracks taking the sometimes overly cheerful genre and applying a thick coat of Punk cynicism and vintage UK Punk abrasion.

Much like their previous work, ‘Stigma’ is aggressive and the more guitar-led end of Ska-Punk and you really can’t fault the band on their energy here. The tracks beginnings are playful but with Disgraceful it is never that simple with the cutting guitar ear-worming its way in before the fluttering but relentless pace of drummer Mick The Fish stops only for a moment ease in the classically sung point of Daddy Long Limbs.

Foreboding, doom-laden Ska-Punk you can bounce to.‘ Daddy Long Limbs on ‘Stigma’.

‘Sneering Face’ on the other hand explores the band’s barely restrained need to simply play it faster with their penchant for faster Punk-Rock and at least verbal appreciation of Thrash showing just nicely. The word “nicely” being within the context of Disgraceful that is, rather than via the accepted normality of the word.

Disgraceful, they’re a little weird but they have fun and play Ska-Punk.

And that’s all I have to say about that… again.
