London’s best dressed Punks return with new single, SE17 and it’s a banger.
WACO are one of my favourite exports from the city of London. The city is known and always will be for it’s musical diversity but particularly it’s Punk-Rock affinity and now has the band’s new single ready to bolster the ranks.
For those unaware of WACO, the band take influence from 70’s Rock as much as they do Punk, with the bands first EP a much listen if you’re a fan of the likes Rancid, The Clash and that UK styled Punk-Rock of yester-year.
The new single ‘SE17’ continues with the raw, classic and Folk-esque sound of the first release with, again, nods to The Clash and arguably The Bouncing Souls this time round, all with chunky 70’s guitar work and approachability totally unique to the four-piece.
The band have also announced the brand new EP UPRISE, set for release on the 10th June on Venn Records and is now live to pre-order.
