Toby Jenkins, Julian Voigt and Curtis Connor are in a band. A band called Dreamer Joe.

With myself and fellow staff MFer, Stefan, hailing from the Isle Of Wight (it does exist and you don’t need a passport to get there), we try to keep an eye on our ancestral home’s sound output. Enter, Dreamer Joe.

Producing something that the music world needs more of – at least now this band have come into fruition – Dreamer Joe oozes dirty Blues Rock n’ Roll and jagged Garage Rock that not only completes that fantasy line-up with Jimi Hendrix and The White Stripes, but sounds really quite fresh.

The latest single from the band can be found below, with it’s infectious low-groove and guitar work that won’t leave you head for days. Plus, everyone loves some brazen speed and guitar solos as a finale.

The band recently WON a spot at the Isle Of Wight Festival and it’s main-stage on the of 14th June, so if you’re going and fancy some home-grown talent by three young men collectively known as Joe, you have it.
