The Malarkey and The ‘Bury The Hatchet’ Single.

The Malarkey – Bristol, England, United Kingdom.

The end of October saw the debut single from another new band from the musical hub known as Bristol. The Malarkey don’t only garner brownie points for turning such a great expression into a band name but also a charged classic sounding track as comparable to a more traditional Indie Rock as it is reminiscent of vintage Garage Rock and Roll.

‘Bury The Hatchet’ takes this sharp edged Indie Rock n’ Roll imbuing it with constant attitude in lieu of a time when the ever- diversifying genre still had some bite to it. Said jaw-strength is also imbued via the socially consciously lyrics and intelligent song writing. ‘Bury The Hatchet’ is an upbeat track, it’s a track that has a point to make and it’s a track that will get those Indie kids and occasional Rock-and-or-rollers moving as much as it would this Punk-sceptic.

I think I would like to hear more, and by “think” I mean I am certainly certifiably certain.

‘Bury The Hatchet’ also is also accompanied by two other demos which you can and indeed should also sample below.
